sometimes, the bible repeats certain principals or truths to emphasize the gravity of it.

today, i came across one that i initially didn't know was repeated, which i also came across twice in a week. have i said twice in a week?

Ephesians 5:31
For this reason a man will leave his father and mother and be united to his wife, and the two will become one flesh.

Mark 10: 7

personally, the idea of leaving his father and mother appeals to me. something that goes against the grain of chinese tradition.
